🦕 Royal Tyrrell Museum 🦕
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is one of the most famous paleontological museums in the world, located in the heart of the Canadian Badlands in Drumheller. It is a must-visit location for virtually every tour in the region — perfect for adults, children, families, and science enthusiasts.
The museum has one of the world's largest collections of dinosaurs and fossils found directly in Alberta, one of the richest paleontological regions on the planet.
You will find:
🦖 Full-size skeletons of a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and dozens of other species.
🔬 Interactive exhibits: paleontology labs, reconstructions of ancient oceans, forests, and eras of life on Earth.
🎯 Exhibitions for children and adults with interactive elements.
📸 Numerous photo opportunities with unique exhibits.

🦖 World`s Largest Dinosaur 🦖
World's Largest Dinosaur is an iconic tourist stop in the heart of Drumheller that has become a landmark for the entire region. It is not just a dinosaur sculpture, but a real observation deck inside a 26-meter-tall Tyrannosaurus, offering a panoramic view of the Badlands.
The huge sculpture of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, over 26 meters (86 feet) tall, allows you not only to see the giant from the outside, but also to climb inside to an observation platform located in the dinosaur's “mouth.”
From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the town of Drumheller, the Red Deer River, and the picturesque landscapes of the Badlands.
This is a fun stop for family tours, children, photo shoots, and a short break during a trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum or Hoodoos.

🪨 Hoodoos Trail 🪨
Hoodoos Trail is one of the most famous natural sites in the Drumheller region and a symbol of the Canadian Badlands. Here you will see unique geological formations — tall stone pillars with caps on top, formed over thousands of years by wind, water, and erosion.
Hoodoos are only a 10-minute drive from the town of Drumheller and are a must-see short stop on any tour of the region.
The trail is very easy and short — a few hundred meters of walking on specially equipped paths and stairs. Here you can:
📸 Take unique photos among the stone pillars
🚶♂️ Walk among the hoodoos and see the rock formations up close
🏞 Enjoy the Badlands atmosphere from close range
This place impresses both adults and children with its fairy-tale shapes and rare natural beauty.

🚶♂️ Rosedale Suspension Bridge 🚶♂️
Rosedale Suspension Bridge is a small but atmospheric stop in Drumheller that takes visitors back to the coal mining days of the Badlands. The bridge was built over the Red Deer River in the 1930s to provide miners with easy access to the local coal mines.
The 117-meter-long bridge is suspended over the Red Deer River amid the distinctive hills of the Badlands. It's a relatively short walk, but perfect for:
🚶♀️ An easy walk across a bridge with little elevation
📸 Photos over the river with a view of the Badlands
🏞 A little history during your Drumheller tour
The bridge is stable, equipped with handrails, and safe to cross even with children. It's more of a walking and photo location than a hiking trail.

🍻 Last Chance Saloon (Wayne) 🍻
Last Chance Saloon is a real historic bar in the town of Wayne, near Drumheller. This establishment has been around since the early 20th century, when Wayne was a mining town with more than 10 mines in the county. Now it is a favorite spot for tourists, preserving the spirit of Alberta's Wild West.
The saloon is located in a unique location, accessible via a famous road with 11 bridges over the small Rosebud River. The establishment itself has the museum-like atmosphere of an old western bar with a wooden interior, vintage photos, historical exhibits, and the authentic energy of the Badlands.
On the menu:
🍔 Classic burgers, steaks, ribs
🍺 Beer and cocktails
🎸 Live performances and music nights are often held
📸 The perfect atmosphere for retro western-style photos
